Setting Up the Database Interface

Setting up OpenBuildings Speedikon for the database has been simplified by the delivery of database configuration files. These files are automatically loaded when Drawing > Attach > Database > Connect to Database is chosen. Also, the database variables from these configuration files may be loaded automatically with the use of the -wd<config file> switch when executing OpenBuildings Speedikon.

Note: Set the database linkage type in the database configuration file(s) since they override OpenBuildings Speedikon configuration variables such as MS_LINKTYPE.
